General Election 2019

Rebel live blog and radio coverage

On Thursday 12th December 2019, the UK will head to the ballot for a general election to decide who should lead the country forward through the uncertainties of Brexit and beyond. A short campaign that has been characterised by the NHS, reforms and more has created much uncertainty about which way the result will go.

Rebel will be live throughout the night, updating you on the results as they are counted and released, concluding Friday morning 13th December when we will find out the result of the nationwide ballot.

We spoke to Liberal Democrat candidate Martin Goss during his campaign in Colchester about what could be an upset of a vote in this swing seat (listen below). The other candidates for Colchester including: Mark Goacher (Green), Tina McKay (Labour), and Will Quince (Conservative) can be found in this Colchester Evening Gazette article with more information about their positions.
